Who we are

InstaPitcher is a financial analysis tool that automates the process of turning International company filings into pitch-ready PowerPoint and Excel exports. The company is currently in its early stages and has not yet been formally registered. This policy will be updated with full legal entity details once registration is complete.

What data we collect

InstaPitcher is currently in a closed demo phase. Demo accounts are set up by us and shared directly with people we know. We collect personal data only if you choose to change your account email or password, in which case we store the updated email address and an encrypted version of your password.

We also store records of the companies you have analysed within the application, as this is necessary for the product to function.

Our hosting infrastructure generates server logs that may temporarily contain technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and device information. These logs are created automatically and are cleared on a rolling basis. We do not actively collect, extract, or use this data.

We do not collect Swedish personal identity numbers (personnummer) or any special categories of personal data.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We process your data for the following purposes:

Account authentication. Your email and password are used to let you sign in and access the application. The legal basis is performance of a contract, as this processing is necessary to provide you with the service.

Product functionality. Records of the companies you have analysed are stored so the application can display your previous work. The legal basis is performance of a contract.

Product improvement. We may review how the application is used in aggregate to improve the product. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in developing and improving the service. This does not involve profiling or automated decision-making about individual users.

Contacting you. We may use your email address to notify you about significant changes to the service or to reach out when the product officially launches. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping users informed about a product they have actively used. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time by emailing us.

How we store and protect your data

The application is hosted on Google Cloud Platform in the North Europe region. Your data is stored within the European Economic Area. Passwords are stored in encrypted form and are never visible to us in plain text.

Who has access to your data

Your personal data is accessible to the InstaPitcher team for the purposes described above. Our hosting infrastructure is provided by Google Cloud Platform (Google LLC). Google acts as a data processor on our behalf and processes data in accordance with their data processing terms.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties. If this changes in the future, for example if we add an email delivery service, this policy will be updated before any data is shared.

International data transfers

Your data is stored within the EEA on Google Cloud's North Europe infrastructure. Google LLC is a US-based company certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which provides a legal basis for any access to data from outside the EEA that may occur as part of their infrastructure operations.

How long we keep your data

We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from within the application, which permanently removes all personal data and analysis records associated with it.

Server logs containing incidental technical data are cleared automatically on a rolling basis by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you. Rectify any inaccurate data. Erase your data, which you can do yourself by deleting your account. Restrict or object to processing in certain circumstances. Port your data to another service in a machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email team@instapitcher.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se.

Cookies

InstaPitcher does not currently use cookies. We may introduce a session cookie in the future to handle authentication. If we do, it will be strictly necessary for the service to function and will not be used for analytics or tracking. This policy will be updated accordingly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product develops and the company is formally registered. Material changes will be communicated through the application or by email. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
